After we made our concentric circles using primary colours, we looked at "Square with Concentric Circles" by Vasily Kandisky.

we each drew an animal.  Some of us tried to use many small lines to make our animals look soft and furry.

Two-Word Poems

Inspired by this painting by Joan Miro,

the Grade 2/3 class wrote interesting two-word poems and illustrated them.  Some students demonstrated their very best cursive writing, in the same way that Miro wrote his two-word poem.
